of 1914, and amended by virtue of Chapter 212 of the Acts of
1918, title "Worcester County," sub-title "Snow Hill," be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments so as to read as follows:

392. The government of said town shall be vested in a
Mayor and three Councilmen, to be selected as hereinafter
provided, who shall be taxpayers and qualified voters of said
town twelve months next preceding their election, and that
their term of office shall be two years or until their successors
are elected and qualified.

394. On or before the second Tuesday in April, 1920, the
City Council of Snow Hill shall appoint two officers of regis-
tration for the town of Snow Hill who shall on the second
Thursday in April, 1920, and the following Wednesday after
having been duly sworn before the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Worcester County, Maryland, to faithfully discharge their
duties as such registration officers attend at the usual place of
voting in the Municipal Building in the town of Snow Hill for
the purpose of registering the hereinafter designated citizens
of Snow Hill as qualified voters in the Municipal Elections
hereinafter mentioned; and no person shall be registered by
said registration officers unless he is a male citizen of the
United States who has never been convicted of any infamous
crime either in this State or elsewhere and unless he has re-
sided within the State of Maryland for one year and in the
corporate limits of the town of Snow Hill for six months next
preceding the election and who is above the age of twenty-one
years and able to read and write any section of the Constitu-
tion of the State of Maryland. The said Registration Officers
shall sit each of the above mentioned days from eight o'clock
in the morning until six o'clock in the evening and at the close
of the second day shall return their registration book signed
and certified by them to the Secretary of the said City Council
of Snow Hill, who shall preserve the same and deliver it to the
Judges of Election hereinafter mentioned; and no person
whose name does not appear on said registration list shall be
entitled to vote at any town elections, but every person whose
name does so appear shall be entitled to so vote; and on the
first Monday in May, 1920, and every second year thereafter
such qualified voters shall elect by ballot one person to be
Mayor and one person to be Councilman and on the first Mon-
day in May, 1921, and every second year thereafter, two per-
