CHAPTER 251.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
188 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Civil Laws of
Maryland, title "Corporations," sub-title "Insurance
Department," relating to the license year of fidelity,
surety and miscellaneous companies.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 188 of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Civil Laws of Maryland, title "Corporations," sub-title "In-
surance Department," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:
188. Such license shall be issued by the. Insurance Com-
missioner to the company, corporation or association entitled
to the same annually on the 1st day of January, for the period
of one year, upon the payment of the license fee hereinafter
mentioned.
SECTION 2. And be it further enacted as aforesaid, That
this Act shall be effective on and after June 1st, 1920.

CHAPTER 252.
AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission of Mary-
land to construct and hereafter maintain as a part of the
State Road System an improved concrete highway, be-
ginning at Hambleton on the State Road leading from
Trappe to Easton and running to Trappe Station, a dis-
tance of two and one-half miles, in Talbot County, Mary-
land.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioner's
of Washington County to issue bonds on the credit of said
county to the extent of forty thousand ($40,000) dollars
for the erection of a high school building in the town of
