SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That the acquisition here-
tofore by the said Town Commissioners of the sewerage system
and other public utilities from, the United States Housing Cor-
poration is hereby ratified and confirmed, and the same shall
hereafter constitute a part of the public utilities of the town
of Aberdeen.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, And it is hereby
declared, that this law is an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety.
SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the State Roads Commis-
sion of Maryland to build, construct and maintain a State
road from Delmar, in Wicomico County, to Salisbury, in
said county, a distance of 6 1/2 miles.

AN ACT to repeal Section 19 of Chapter 3A, sub-title "The
State Superintendent .of Schools," of Article 77 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Public Education,"
as said Section 19 of said Article was enacted by Chapter
506 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1916; and to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sec-
tion 72B, Chapter 4A, of said Article, sub-title "The
County Superintendent of Schools;'' and to repeal and
re-enact Section 11 of Chapter 3 of said Article, sub-title
"The State Board of Education," as repealed and re-
enacted by Chapter. 506 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland of 1916.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 19, Chapter 3A, sub-title "The State
Superintendent of Schools," of Article 77 of the Annotated
