city of Cumberland seven thousand six hundred and thirty
dollars; the town of Frostburg two thousand six hundred and
sixty dollars; the town of Lonaconing one thousand four hun-
dred and ten dollars; the town of Westernport two thousand
and twenty dollars; and the town of Midland eight hundred
and forty dollars; and the town of Barton one thousand two
hundred and forty dollars; the same to be paid to the respec-
tive treasurers of said city and town not later than the first
day of December in each year following said levy, and all to
be expended upon the streets and highways of said city and
towns.
The County Commissioners of Allegany County shall
further increase the appropriation to any incorporated city or
town in Allegany County on the basis of $1,000.00 per mile
whenever such city or town expands its corporate limits to
include additional mileage of. county roads.
SECTION 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from June 1. 1920.

CHAPTER 193.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 63
of Article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title "Elections." so as to change the time of clos-
ing the polling places in Baltimore County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 63 of Article 33 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title "Elections," be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read
as follows; that is to say:
SECTION 63. The polling places shall be opened by the
Judges of Election at 6 o'clock in the morning in the City of
Baltimore, and at 8 o'clock in the morning in the counties,
and in said city shall be kept open until 5 o'clock and in Balti-
more County until 7 o'clock and in the other counties until
6 o'clock in the afternoon of the same day, at which times the
polls shall be closed. If any judge or clerk shall 'not be present
at the expiration of fifteen minutes after the time for opening
the polls the judge or judges present shall fill the place of such
