CHAPTER 178.
AN ACT to add an additional section to Chapter 77 of the
Acts of 1914 of the General Assembly of Maryland, en-
titled an Act, "Authorizing and empowering and direct-
ing the Judges of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel
County to appoint a Court Stenographer and typist and
prescribing the duties and compensation for said duties,''
to be numbered Section 2A, and to read as follows:
SEC. 2A. The said Court Stenographer shall be entitled to
charge as part of his own compensation, in addition to his
$1,200.00 per annum salary, for all stenographic work and
typewriting done by him in equity cases the usual per diem
and rates for taking testimony, transcribing and furnishing
copies of the same when requested so to do, except such copies
as he may be directed to make by a Judge or Judges of the
said Court, for which he shall make no charge.

CHAPTER 179.
AN ACT to compel all officials elected under the Constitution
and laws of the State of Maryland, in and for Anne
Arundel County, to grant leave of absence for a period
of fifteen days in each and every calendar year, with full
pay, to all employees under them.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be the duty of all officials elected under the
Constitution and laws of the State of Maryland, in and for
Anne Arundel County, to grant leave of absence for a period
of fifteen days in each and every calendar year, with full pay,
to all employees under them,
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1920.
