receipts and disbursements and give bond in sum equal to
amount to be collected, shall be compensated therefor at rate
of one per cent on amount collected; corporation shall furnish
his bond.

The male and female citizens of Pen Mar of the age of
twenty-one years and over, the male and female persons of
the age of twenty-one years and over who reside at Pen Mar
from June to October all of whom will duly register as herein-
before prescribed and who will duly make affidavit that they
intend to reside for same three months the succeeding year,
and every property owner in the corporate limits of Pen Mar
who shall duly register shall be entitled to vote at every elec-
tion held by the corporation of Pen Mar. Any person legally
registered shall be eligible to office.

CHAPTER 162.

AN ACT to add six new sections to Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington
County," sub-title "Hancock," to be known as Sections
241-AB, 241-AC, 241-AD, 241-AE, 241-AF and 241-AG
and to follow immediately after Section 241-AA of said
Article, authorizing a bond issue for the construction
and extension of the water and sewer systems and pro-
viding for a referendum vote on said bond issue.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That six new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Washington County," sub-title "Hancock." to be
known as" Sections 241-AB, 241-AC, 241-AD, 241-AE, 241-AF
and 241-AG, to follow immediately after Section 241-AA of
said Article, and to read as follows:

241-AB. The Burgess and Commissioners of Hancock are
authorized and empowered to locate, design, adopt, construct,
operate, maintain, repair, extend, enlarge or improve the sup-
ply, purification, filtration, pumping and disposal works,
trunk lines and small distribution mains and lateral sewers in
conjunction with a system of waterworks, or waterworks now
in use by the inhabitants of the town of Hancock and the cor-
