visions of this Act, relating to the selection of a site and the
building and equipping of said Public School House in Still
Pond, with all the power and discretion herein mentioned, and
the Board of Education for Kent County is hereby authorized
and directed to fill by appointment any vacancy which may
occur in The Still Pond Public School Commission by death,
failure to qualify, resignation or otherwise.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That immediately upon the sale
of the bonds, provided for by the Act, the aforesaid Commis-
sion shall proceed to secure a proper site for said Public
School House (if the said Commission shall deem the purchase
of said site as necessary) ; and shall proceed to secure proper
plans for said Public School House; and after the securement
and adoption of proper plans and specifications, which shall
be left with the Superintendent of the Board of Education for
Kent County for public inspection, the aforesaid Commission
shall advertise at least once a week for four successive weeks
in two newspapers published in Kent County, Maryland, for
bids for the construction of said Public School House and
shall award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, who
will enter into contract and execute a sufficient bond with ap-
proved security for the erection and completion of said Pub-
lic School House, the said Commission, however, to have full
power in its discretion to reject any and all bids and to adver-
tise for other bids.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid Commission
shall have the power to have condemned such quantity of land
as they may deem necessary in order to carry out the pro-
visions of this Act under the provisions of Chapter 463 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January Session of 1914.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the members of the Still
Pond Public School Commission before entering upon the
discharge of the duties imposed upon said Commission by the
provisions of this Act shall collectively as such Commission
give bond in the penalty of seventeen thousand dollars ($17.-
000.00). which bond shall be given to the State of Maryland
with security to be approved by the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Kent County. Maryland, with the condition that the ob-
ligors shall well and faithfully execute the duties imposed
upon them by the provisions of this Act. and after the erection
