CHAPTER 85.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 3
of Chapter 328 of the Acts of 1918, defining the corporate
limits of the town of Barton, Allegany County, Mary-
land.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 3 of Chapter 328 of the Acts of 1918 be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to
read as follows:

3. That the limits of the said town shall be as follows:
Beginning at a point marked B. on the retaining wall along
the east side of the C. & W. E. R. R. also at the northwest
corner of a county bridge and running with the following
courses and distances: North 32 degrees and 48 minutes East
2,524 feet to a large white oak tree marked with three notches,
said tree stands northeast of the Moscow & George's Creek
Coal Mining Co.'s shop, South 84 degrees and 11 minutes
West 654 feet to a locust tree marked with three notches, said
tree stands on the northeast side of the Moscow & George's
Creek Mining Co.'s incline; South 43 degrees and 28 minutes
West 1,388 feet to a large sugar tree marked with three
notches, South 89 degrees and 45 minutes West 650 feet to a
stake, South ]6 degrees and 30 minutes West 2,440 feet to a
stake, said stake stands North 73 degrees West 44 feet from a
large white oak tree marked with three notches, South 00 de-
grees and 19 minutes East 400 feet to a stake near a large
white oak marked with three notches; South 6 degrees and
50 minutes East 2,055 feet to a white oak stump standing on
the East side of the C. & P. Railroad, South. 17 degrees East
462.5 feet to a large white oak tree marked with three notches,
said white oak tree stands south of John Mowbray's residence ;
North 64 degrees and 2 minutes East 1,950 feet to a large
stone; North 36 degrees and'30 minutes West 1,112 feet to a
stake, North 8 degrees and 30 minutes West 420 feet to a large
white oak tree marked with twelve notches, North 5 degrees
and 30 minutes East 333.8 feet to a hickory tree marked with
twelve notches; North 24 degrees and 30 minutes East 536
feet to a stake near a white oak stump, North 30 degrees and
12 minutes East 406.5 feet to a beech tree marked with twelve
notches, North 19 degrees West 895 feet to the place of begin-
ning, all lines to be measured horizontally, and the property
