the entry of said cancellation shall be made in said book of
registry.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the Treasurer of
the Board of Commissioners of said corporation, or an agent
of said treasurer acceptable to the remaining members of said
board, shall perform the duties of collecting the sum or sums
of money due by consumers for electric service according to
the regulations of said corporation, and all sums so collected
shall be kept separate from the other funds of said corpora-
tion, and as collected shall be deposited by said treasurer in
bank in the name of "The Town Commissioners of Queens-
town, Electric Plant Eate Fund," and shall be withdrawn only
by checks signed by the said treasurer, and countersigned by
at least one other commissioner of said corporation. All sums
of money collected from the consumers for electric service
Shall be first applied to the payment of all expenses of run-
ning and maintaining said plant, repairing the same, and to
the cost of extending and enlarging the same from time to time
to meet the requirements of demands for electric service.
The sums of money remaining and actually in hand on the
first day of July of each year, after allowance for expendi-
tures mentioned above in this section, shall he applied by said
corporation to the payment of the interest on said bonds as
same shall fall due. All. money received from consumers for
services as aforesaid shall be applied as directed by this sec-
tion and to no other purpose whatsoever. The Town Commis-
sioners of Queenstown are hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to fix and from time to time change the compensa-
tion said Treasurer shall receive for the duties imposed upon
him by this section, and said compensation, together with the
cost, if any, of the bond hereinafter mentioned, shall be paid
out of the sums received from consumers of electric power
and energy for electric services and shall be considered part
of the cost of maintenance of said plant and shall be in addi-
tion to the other amounts allowed to said Treasurer for his
other duties. The said Treasurer, before entering upon the
duties required of him by this Act, shall give to the Town Com-
missioners of Queenstown a bond in such amount and with such
surety or sureties as the Town Commissioners of Queenstown
shall determine and approve, condition for the faithful per-
formance of the duties imposed upon him by this Act.

SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of
