thereof, define the persons qualified to vote therein, to
provide for and regulate the election and appointment of
officers therefor and the terms and qualifications of such
officers, to define the method of government thereof, to de-
fine the corporate powers and to provide an election to de-
termine whether or not the citizens thereof desire to be-
come incorporated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, in. Regular Session assembled. That the citizens, residing-
within the area more particularly hereinafter defined, be. and
they are hereby made a, body corporate by the name and style
of the "Mayor and Common Council of Riverdale" and by
that name may have perpetual succession, sue and be sued,
have a common seal, purchase and hold real and personal
property or dispose of the same for the benefit of said town.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the corporate lim-
its of said town shall be within the following limits and lines,
viz: Beginning at a point on the west side of the Washington-
Baltimore Boulevard (also known as State Road Number One)
where the same is intersected by the south side of the Coles-
ville Road, thence running in a northwesterly direction along
the south side of the Colesville Road to the southwest, corner of
Calvert street and Colesville Road, being more clearly de-
scribed as the northeast corner of Lot No. 1 in Block No. 2 of
the sub-division of Ellaville, thence running along the eastern
boundary of Block No. 2 of said sub-division to the southeast
corner of Lot. No. 15, thence across Ashland avenue to the
northeast corner of Lot 6 in Block No. 8 of the Ellaville- sub-
division, thence along the eastern boundary of Block No. 8 to
the northern boundary line of the Town of Hyattsville, thence
running east with and along the northern boundary of the
Town of Hyattsville to the west side of the Washington-Balti-
more Boulevard, thence across the said boulevard to the north-
ernmost point of Lot No. 1 in Block No. 51 of the Riverdale
Park sub-division (as the same is recorded in Liber J. W. B.
No. 5, folio 688 of the Land Records of Prince George's Coun-
ty), thence running in a. southerly direction on the east line of
the said Washington-Baltimore Boulevard to the northern
limits of the town of Hyattsville; thence in an easterly direc-
tion by and with the northern line of said town of Hyatts-
ville to the point where said line intersects the right of way
