CHAPTER 78.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Allegany County to erect a bridge over George's Creek
at Franklin, Allegany County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Allegany County be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to erect a bridge
over George's Creek at Franklin, near the Franklin public
schools, in Allegany County, and to include in the next levy
for county taxes a sum not exceeding eighteen hundred
($1,800) dollars to pay for the erection of said bridge.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1920.

Approved April 16, 1920.

CHAPTER 79.

AN ACT to provide for the issuing of bonds by the Mayor and
City Council of Frostburg for the purpose of enlarging
the present water system and for obtaining an increased
water supply for the citizens of Frostburg. Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That for the purpose of furnishing the inhabitants of the
town of Frostburg, in Allegany County, with an increased and
enlarged water supply, the Mayor and Councilmen of Frost-
burg is hereby authorized and empowered to issue coupon
bonds of said town, in addition to what it has already issued,
to an amount not exceeding two hundred and fifty thousand
dollars, which said bonds shall be signed by the Mayor and
the Clerk of said town, and attested with the corporate seal
thereof, and shall be denominated "Frostburg Water En-
largement Bonds," and bear interest not exceeding six per
centum per annum, payable semi-annually, to be issued in
denominations not exceeding one thousand dollars, and to, be
payable at a time not exceeding fifty years after their date,
and redeemable at the pleasure of said town at any time after
five years from their date.

SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That the Mayor and
