prising the charter of the town of Westernport, in Alle-
gany County, Maryland, and to re-enact the same as here-
inafter set forth as "The Charter of the town of Western-
port."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 33 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1886, codified as Sections 241, 242, 243, 244,
245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250 and 251 of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland, applicable to Allegany County, under the sub-
title of "Westernport;" and Chapter 203 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1904; and that Chapter 644
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910.
comprising the Charter of the Town of Westernport, in Alle-
gany County, Maryland, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And. be it enacted, That the citizens of the Town of
Westernport, in Allegany County, are constituted and made a
body corporate, by the name of "The Mayor and Commis-
sioners of Westernport," and by that name may sue and be
sued, have and use a common seal, and may purchase and hold
real estate and other property or dispose of the same for the
benefit of the town.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the limits of said town
shall extend as follows: Beginning at the mouth of the sewer
of the upper round-house of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad
Company's shops and running thence north twenty-five (25)
degrees, west four hundred (400) feet to the county road,
thence north twenty-one and a half (21 1/2) degrees, east five
thousand two hundred and fifty (5250) feet, thence south
sixty-eight and a half (68 1/2) degrees, east forty-one hundred
and fifty (4150) feet to a bounded white oak, thence south
twenty-one and a half (21 1/2) degrees, west five thousand two
hundred and eighty (5280) feet to the corner of bridge pier
on the West Virginia State line, opposite the lower end of
Hominy Cland, then up and with said line to the beginning.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted. That the male citizens
of said Town of Westernport, of the age of twenty-one years
and upwards, being citizens of the United States and who shall
have resided in said town for and during a space of six months
next preceding any municipal election shall be qualified to
vote at any municipal election of officers in said town, and
the qualified voters are hereby authorized on the last Monday
