cil of Salisbury shall annually levy a tax the year preceding,
at a regular levy, to meet and pay the interest on said bonds
issued, and to meet and pay the bonds as they shall become
due from time to time, and the taxes so levied shall be col-
lected as other taxes are collected, and shall be kept as a fund
to be used only for the payment of said interest and principal.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That all bonds author-
ized to be issued by this Act shall, if issued at all, be issued
prior to January 1, 1922, and that they shall be issued only
when provided by ordinance after the said issue has first been
approved by a majority of the qualified voters of said city.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the said bonds
shall be exempt from State, county and municipal taxation,
and shall not be sold for less than par.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 69.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (Revised Edition of
1915), title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police Com-
missioners," sub-head "Special Fund," said new section
to come under said sub-title and to follow immediately
after Section 777D, and to be known and designated as
Section 777E, so as to include within the provisions of
Section 777, relating to the Police Commissioners' Special
Fund, the two assistants to the secretary to the Board of
Police Commissioners of Baltimore City.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (Re-
vised Edition of 1915), title "City of Baltimore," sub-title
"Police Commissioners," sub-head "Special Fund," said
new section to come under said sub-title, to follow immediately
after Section 777D of said Article, and to be known and
designated as Section 777E, and to read as follows:
