WHEREAS, The town of Barton is not included in this list of
towns; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Allegany County be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to pay the Bar-
ton Fire Department of Barton, Maryland, the sum of one
hundred and fifty ($150.00) dollars annually on or before the
first day of September each year, and to levy said sum of one
hundred and fifty ($150.00) dollars annually upon the assess-
able property of said county.
SEC. 2. fir it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 673.
AN ACT authorizing and directing the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County to repair and put in good condi-
tion that portion of the old Georgetown Road, from Beane
to Montrose, a distance of about two and one-half miles,
and to issue bonds in an amount not to exceed twenty
thousand dollars for said purpose, and for the collection
and levy of taxes on the assessable property of the
Fourth Election District of said county, for the payment
of said bonds and interest coupons thereon.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery County
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to put in good
repair that portion of the old Georgetown Road, beginning
at Beane and running to Montrose, in said county, being in all
a distance of about two and one-half miles, and to use the
funds for said repairs out of the sale of the bond issue herein-
after referred to.
SEC. 2. And be, it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Montgomery County are hereby authorized and
directed to borrow on the credit of said county a sum of money
not to exceed twenty thousand dollars, for the purpose of put-
ting in good repair the said highway from Beane to Mont-
rose, and the said County Commissioners shall issue coupon
bonds under the corporate seal of said County Commissioners
