mentioned section, but shall be computed on the basis of the
rates for State, County, City and Municipal taxation, respec-
tively, herein prescribed; no such credits, however, shall be
allowed in any case where the officer making such returns for
such Bank, or Banks, or Trust Companies, shall fail to state in
such return that said Investments are owned by the Bank, or
Trust Company, of which he is such officer, and are not held
by such Bank, or Trust Company, as a security for any loan,
or as a collateral for any payment or other purpose. All de-
ductions required to be made by the City Collector of Balti-
more City by the provisions of said last mentioned section,
shall be made in accordance with said provisions. Nothing in
this Section shall be construed to relieve any corporation from
the payment of any franchise tax required to be paid by the
provisions of Section 89 of this Article.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1920, provided that nothing in this Act con-
tained shall affect the tax levy for the year 1920.

CHAPTER 65.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 96 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1916, entitled "An Act to pro-
tect Quail, Partridges and Bob White within the limits of
Frederick County, Maryland, until the 10th day of No-
vember, 1921."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 96 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1916, entitled "An Act to protect Quail,
Partridges and Bob White within the limits of Frederick
County, Maryland, until the 10th day of November, 1921,"
be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the first day of June, 1920.
