said bona fide active member of said Fire Department from
the right of franchise in city elections, provided said bona
fide member has all the other requirements of a qualified
voter, as provided in the preceding section, and actually
owns property to the extent provided therein.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 635.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Anne Arundel County to improve a road from a point
near Taylorsville on the south side of South River to the
present public road from South River bridge to Davidson-
ville, to discontinue the operation of the ferry from
Taylorsville to the public road on the north side of said
river and to repeal Chapter 146, Acts of 1918, provid-
ing for a bridge at this location.

CHAPTER 636.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the Board of Police Com-
missioners of the City of Baltimore to permit Daniel J.
Starr to become eligible to share in the "Special Fund,"
known as the Police Pension Fund, on complying with
certain conditions.

CHAPTER 637.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor, Counselor
and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis to use and
expend for the purpose of repairing the streets in said
City the unexpended balance and accrued interest of the
bond issue of $25,000, authorized by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland by Chapter 553 of the Acts of 1906.
