SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Act of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1862, Chapter 35, incorporating the Home Missionary
Society of the Maryland Annual Conference of the Methodist
Protestant Church, as amended by the Act of 1894, Chapter
119, changing the name of said corporation to the Church
Extension Society of the Maryland Annual Conference of the
Methodist Protestant Church, be and the same is hereby
amended by striking out the provision contained in Section
2 of said Act of 1862, Chapter 35, limiting the amount of
property to he held by said corporation to Forty Thousand
Dollars in value, and in lieu thereof extending the powers
and privileges of said corporation to holding property not
exceeding Three Hundred Thousand Dollars in value.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all property now
owned and held by said corporation shall continue to be
owned and held thereby as fully and in the same manner as
if said limitation as to value and amount thereof had not been
contained in its original charter as aforesaid.

CHAPTER 613.
AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission of Mary-
land and the United States Department of Agriculture
under Act July 11, 1916, and Act February 28, 1919, to
build, construct and thereafter maintain as a part of
the State Roads System, an improved concrete highway
from Woodbine-Schoolhouse, Carroll County, Maryland,
at the end of the State road now completed leading from
the Baltimore and Frederick State road, thence to Win-
field, thence to Crawford's Corner, thence to Gypsy Hill
to connect with the Mount Airy and Westminster Road.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor and Town
Council of Oakland to buy, acquire or erect, construct
and equip, maintain and operate an Electric Light and
