ment books of the County; but dogs in the incorporated towns
which impose a tax thereon shall not be assessed by the County
Commissioners; said Treasurer shall, before entering upon
his duties of his office, execute to the State of Maryland, two
bonds, with sureties to be approved by the County Commis-
sioners, one for fifteen hundred dollars, conditional for the
faithful collection and payment to the State Treasurer of all
State taxes levied and placed in his hands for collection and
the faithful performance of all other duties devolving on him,
and another bond for twenty-five thousand dollars, condi-
tional for the proper collection and disbursement of all taxes
levied and placed in his hands for Kent County, and the
faithful performance of all other duties devolving upon him ;
said bonds to be filed and recorded in the office of the Clerk
of the Circuit Court for said County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 611.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the State Roads Commis-
sion of Maryland to build, construct and thereafter main-
tain as a part of the State Roads System, an improved
concrete highway from Kennedyville, via Turner's Creek
Cross Roads, to Still Pond in Kent County, Maryland, a
distance of about three miles.
(Vetoed.)
CHAPTER 612.
AN ACT to amend the charter and enlarge the powers and
privileges of the Church Extension Society of the Mary-
land Annual Conference of the Methodist Protestant
Church, incorporated by Act of the General Assembly
of Maryland in 1862, Chapter 35, under the name of the
Home Missionary Society of the Maryland Annual Con-
ference of the Methodist Protestant Church, as amended
by Act of 1894, Chapter 119, changing the name of said
corporation to the Church Extension Society of the Mary-
land Annual Conference of the Methodist Protestant
Church as above.
