SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said sum of $10,000.00
or so much as may be necessary thereof for the purpose, shall,
by the said Commissioners of Chestertown, be used and applied
to the purchasing of additional fire equipment for said town,
and if any part of the proceeds of sale of said bonds be left
over after the purchasing of said fire equipment, the said
amount is to be turned over to the Treasury of said town
to be used by the said Commissioners of Chestertown in im-
proving the streets of said Chestertown.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That at the next regular elec-
tion for Commissioners of Chestertown, there shall be submit-
ted to the qualified voters of Chestertown the question whether
bonds shall be issued for said additional fire equipment and
at such election the ballots cast upon such question shall have
the words "For Additional Fire Equipment" or "Against
Additional P'ire Equipment" thereon, and if a majority of
the votes cast upon said question shall be "For Additional
Fire Equipment," then the Commissioners of Chestertown,
or a majority of them, shall proceed to execute the power
vested in them by this Act, but if the majority of votes cast
shall be "Against Additional Fire Equipment," then this
Act shall be of no effect.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law, necessary for immediate
preservation of public safety and being passed upon a yea
and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

sub-title, "Wild Fowl," as enacted by Chapter 142 of
the Acts of 1904 and Chapter 611 of the Acts of 1912;
to repeal Chapter 337 of the Acts of 1918; to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 217 of Article 15 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title, "Kent County,"
sub-title, "Wild Fowl," as amended by Chapter 142 of
