AN ACT to regulate the hunting of upland game, birds and
animals in Worcester Comity.

CHAPTER 533.
AN ACT to amend Article 23 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title, "Corporations," sub-title, "In-"
surance Department," by repealing Section 184 and by
enacting in lieu thereof eight new sections to follow imme-
diately after Section 183, and to be known respectively
as Sections 183A, 183B, 183C, 183D, 183B, 183F, 183G
and 184, said new sections relating to the license fees,
taxes and other charges payable by Insurance Companies.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, title, "Corporations," sub-title, "Insurance
Department," be and the same is hereby amended by repeal-
ing Section 184 and the enactment of eight new sections to
follow immediately after Section 183, and to be known re-
spectively as Sections 183A, 183B, 183C, 183D, 183E, 183F,
183G and 184, to read as follows:
183A. No person, firm or corporation shall act as agent
or solicitor in this State for any insurance company as de-
fined in Section 192 of this Article, in any manner whatever
relating to insurance risks, until all the provisions of this
Article relating thereto have been complied with, and there
has been granted by the Insurance Commissioner a certificate
of authority or license to said company.
183B. Every company doing a life insurance business in
this State, except such as may be incorporated under the
laws of this State, shall pay an annual license fee of three
hundred dollars.
