CHAPTER 529.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title, "Elections," sub-title, "Judges
and Clerks of Election," to be known as Section 12-A,
and to follow immediately after Section 12 of said Article,
relating to the use of public buildings for polling places.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be added to Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title, "Elections," sub-title,
'"Judges and Clerks of Election." to be known as Section
12-A, to follow immediately after Section 12 of said Article,
and to read as follows:
12-A. It shall be the duty of the Board of Supervisors of
Elections of the City of Baltimore and of the several coun-
ties, to use, wherever possible and practicable, public build-
ings, such as school-houses, fire engine houses, etc., for regis-
tration and polling places. It shall be the duty of all public
officials who have charge of such buildings to place them at
the disposal of said Boards of Supervisors of Elections on
the days of registration and elections when it does not inter-
fere with the proper and regular use of such building or
buildings.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 530.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
286 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of the Public
General Laws of Maryland, title, "Health," sub-title,
"Waters, Ice and Sewerage."

AN ACT to repeal Section 215 of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title, "Corporations," sub-title, "In-
surance Department," and to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Section 206 of Article 23 of the Annotated
