WHEREAS, The said Board of County Commissioners was
required by said Chapter number forty (40) of the Acts of
the said General Assembly, passed in the year 1916, and by
Chapter number four hundred and seventy (470) of the Acts
of the said General Assembly, passed in the year 1918, to
construct, build and improve the public road known as the
Glenmont-Colesville Eoad, and in order to complete the said
road was required to borrow from the general funds of said
county the additional sum of four thousand eight hundred
sixty-nine dollars and ten cents ($4,869.10) and

WHEREAS, The said Wheaton-Four Corners Road lies wholly
within the said Thirteenth Election District of said county
and the Glenmont-Colesville React lies partly within the Fifth
Election District of said county and partly within the Thir-
teenth Election District of said county; and

WHEREAS, It is desirable that said sums of money so bor-
rowed should be provided for and be paid off in annual in-
stallments by levy upon all the taxable property of the said
Thirteenth Election Districts to repay said sum of four thou-
sand six hundred and fifty-six dollars and fifty-four cents
($4,656.54) borrowed as aforesaid for completing the said
Wheaton-Four Corners Road, and by levy upon all the tax-
able property of said Fifth and Thirteenth Election Districts
to repay said sum of four thousand eight hundred sixty-nine
dollars and ten cents ($4,869.10) borrowed as aforesaid for
completing said Glenmont-Colesville Road.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the action of the Board of County Commissioners
of Montgomery County in incurring the said indebtedness by
borrowing the said sums of money in this Act recited and the
action of the said Board of County Commissioners in advanc-
ing the said sums of money aggregating the sum of nine thou-
sand five hundred and twenty-five dollars sixty-five cents be
and the same are hereby ratified and confirmed; and the said
indebtedness incurred be and the same is declared to be valid
and subsisting, and the said four thousand six hundred and
fifty-six dollars and fifty-four cents ($4,656.54) for complet-
ing the said Wheaton-Four Corners Road to be paid to said
Montgomery County in two equal annual installments by levy
upon all the taxable property of the said Thirteenth Election
District of said county, and the said sum of four thousand
eight hundred sixty-nine dollars, ten cents for completing said
