1012 LAWS OF MARYLAND [CH. 506

Class D. Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) for the first two
sets of registration tags or markers issued each manufacturer
or dealer in motor vehicles other than motor cycles, and
Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for each additional set of registration
tags issued such manufacturer or dealer. Such registration
tags shall be interchangeable among the cars owned or used
by such manufacturer or dealer during the current year in
which issued. Three Dollars ($3.00) per annum for each addi-
tional special set of registration tags issued each manufac-
turer or dealer in motor vehicles to be used only on new
vehicles being brought under their own power from a factory
to a dealer in this State, which special tags shall not be used
in any other way. No such dealer's tags shall be used on
any ear engaged in transportation for hire or livery business.

Class E. Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per annum for each
four registration tags issued a dealer in motor cycles and Five
Dollars ($5.00) for each additional tag issued such dealer,
such tags to be interchangeable as in case of dealers in other
motor vehicles.

Class F. One Dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per horse-
power or fraction thereof in the case of all motor vehicles
operating for the purpose of transporting persons for hire
upon any of the public highways of this State other than
motor vehicles operating on fixed schedules, the registration
fees of which are fixed by other specific provisions of law,
and provided that said charge shall be in lieu of all other
taxes, fees or charges of every kind upon said motor vehicles
or upon the receipts of those operating the same except the
taxes upon the same as personal property.

Class G. Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each rubber tired vehicle
with a carrying capacity of one ton or less, trailed or propelled
by any motor vehicle on which a license is required to be
displayed, and twenty dollars ($20.00) additional for each
additional ton of carrying capacity or fraction thereof, the
carrying capacity of such vehicles to be determined by the
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles in disputed cases. Where
the vehicle so trailed or propelled is equipped with two or
more metal tires, the charge shall be double those above speci-
fied. Said fees shall not be chargeable in the case of thresh-
ing outfits, clover hullers, hay balers, binders and other
