CHAPTER 50.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 6
of Article 26 of the, Annotated Code of Maryland, en-
titled "Courts," sub-title "Judgment by Confession,"
by providing for the entry of judgments by confession at
any time.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 6 ofArticle 26 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, entitled "Courts," sub-title "Judgment by Con-
fession,'' be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
6. The clerk of any court in this State may at any time
enter a judgment by confession with the assent of the parties
or attorneys in writing, which shall be filed with the titling,
narr., cause of action and other papers in the case in which
said judgment is entered; and a judgment so entered shall
from the date of the entry of the same by the clerk have the
same effect as if entered by order of court during the session
of the court.
SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 51.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Talbot County,"
sub-title "Easton," to be designated and numbered as
Section 85A, creating a lien on real property for sums
of money due for sewer or water service supplied to or in
such property.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following Section be added to Article 21 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Talbot
County,'' sub-title " Easton," to be designated and numbered
as Section 85A.
SECTION 85A. That all sums of money which may be due
and owing to The Easton Utilities Commission, which said
Commission is operating the revenue-producing utilities of the
town of Easton as required by Chapter 263 of the Acts of the
