1836.

Hugh Anderson, late of the city of Baltimore, deceas-
ed, upon the said court being satisfied of the execution
thereof by the said Hugh Anderson, by other proof than
the oath of Mary Ann Anderson and Rebecca Ander-
son. the subscribing witnesses thereto.

CHAP. 93.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That if the said last will
and testament shall be admitted to probate upon the
affidavit of the said Mary Ann Anderson and Rebecca
Anderson, who are hereby made and declared to be
competent witnesses for that purpose, they shall not
thereby forfeit any interest or estate which they would
he entitled to under and by virtue of said last will apd
testament, if they had not been subscribing witnesses
thereto.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said last will ,
and testament, when so admitted to probate, shall be as
good and effectual to vest the bequests therein contain-
ed, as if the same were proved according to the exist:
ing laws of this State.

CHAPTER 93.


An act to provide for the meeting of the Court of Carroll
County, and for other purposes.

Passed Mar. 3,
1836.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the judges of the third judicial dis-
trict of this State, be, and they are hereby required to
meet at Westminster, in Carroll county, and hold court
for the transaction of business twice in each and every
year, one session of the court to commence upon the
first Monday of April, and the other session of the
court to commence on the first Monday of September,
and that the first session commence on the first Monday
of April, eighteen hundred and thirty -seven.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That until the erection of
a court house in said county, the said judges may in
their discretion hold their court in any bouse in the
town of Westminster which they may select and be able
to procure for that purpose; and they are hereby autho-
rised to contract and agree at the county charge for a
convenient place in the said town to hold their courts,
