from and after the passage of this act; and the acknow-
ledgment so made shall be good and valid to all intents
and purposes, as if the same had been made at the time
of proving the due execution of said power, at and he-
fore the justices taking said proof, any law to the con-

trary hereof, in any wise notwithstanding; provided
nevertheless, that nothing herein contained shall affect
the rights of bona fide creditors, if any, nor the rights
of any mortgagee of the said John Carroll Brent and
Robert Brent, or either of them, by mortgage duly
recorded in the office of clerk of Charles county court,
nor of any creditor of the said John Carroll Brent and
Robert Brent, or either of them, by judgment duly
rendered in Charles county court, or purchasers from
them, or either of them.

An additional supplement to an act, passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and thirty, chapter one hun-
dred and eighty-two, for the benefit of the heirs of
Mary Bucknal.
|

Preamble
|
WHEREAS, the name Mary Burknal was substituted
by mistake, for Mary Bucknal, in an act passed at De-
cember session, eighteen hundred and thirty-two, chap-
ter one hundred and eighty-one: — Therefore,
|
|
|
Error and sh-
sence obviated
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said supplement shall be deemed and constru-
ed to apply to the children of Mary Bucknal; And be
it further enacted, that in case either of the commis-
sioners appointed under said original act, shall be ab-
sent from this State, a successor may be appointed by
Baltimore county court, in lieu of, and to perform the
duties of such absentee.
