shall be construed to have, or in any manner affect the
right of any one of said heirs or their legal represen-

A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to incorporate
the Neptune Insurance Company.

WHEREAS, Marine Insurance is habitually and ex-
tensively effected in general terms, on property in
vessel or vessels, without designation of them by name,
in consequence of the insured being often without that
specific information; and whereas, the interests of
commerce require that no Insurance corporation should
be so limited in its power, as to be compelled to reject
so large a portion of the business of Insurance; —

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That so much of the proviso contained in the fourth
section of the act to which this is a supplement, as lim-
its the Neptune Insurance Company to insurance of not
more than twenty thousand dollars on any one vessel
or bottom, or on any one risk, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road
Company, be, and they are hereby authorised to alter
the location of their road between Baltimore and the
Monocacy River, for the purpose of dispensing with
the use of inclined planes, and avoiding unnecessary
curves, where they occur upon the present location
