An act to confirm an act, entitled, an act to alter and
amend the Constitution and Form of Government of
this State, so far as it relates to the representation
in the House of Delegates, from the City of Baltimore.

begun and held at the city of Annapolis, on the twenty
eighth day of December eighteen hundred and thirty
five, an act of assembly entitled, an act to alter and
amend the Constitution and form of Government of
this State, so far as it relates to the representation in
the House of Delegates, from the city 6t Baltimore,
was passed to alter and repeal those parts of the Con-
stitution and form of Government which are therein
mentioned: and whereas the said act of assembly hath
Seen published in due form for the space of three
months next before the late general election of Dele-
gates to the House of Delegates, according to the pro-
visions of the constitution and form of government,
and this General Assembly hereby intend to confirm
the said act;

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said act entitled, an act to alter and amend
the Constitution and form of Government of this State,
so far as it relates to the representation in the House
of Delegates, from the city of Baltimore, be, and it is
hereby confirmed and made valid to every intent and
purpose therein mentioned.

CHAPTER 77.
|

An act to provide for taking the sense of the people of
Baltimore County, on the propriety of separating said
County from the City of Baltimore.
|

WHEREAS, it hath been represented to this General
Assembly, that the convenience of the people of Bal-
timore county would be promoted, and the adminis-
tration of justice in said county, be rendered more
speedy and efficient, if the said county were separated
