LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 66.

said treasurer a bonus on the capital stock, which the
said bank shall at any time have subscribed over and
above the aforesaid sum of five hundred and ninety
two thousand, two hundred dollars, at and after the
rate of three dollars and seventy five cents on each
hundred dollars thereof, which said bonus shall be
paid on the tenth day of November next, after such
augmented or additional capital shall have been sub-
scribed.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That if the full amount of
one million of dollars shall not have been subscribed to
the capital stock of said bank before the tenth day of
November, in the year eighteen hundred and thirty
nine, the said bank shal nevertheless on that day pay
to the said treasurer such sum of money as together
with the sum already paid, and the sums required to
be paid by the preceding sections of this act, shall

amount to the full sum of thirty seven thousand five
hundred dollars: Provided always, that nothing herein
contained shall be of any force or effect unless the pre-
sident and directors of the said band, shall on or be-
fore the first day of August next pass and file with the
Governor and Council of Maryland, a resolution au-
thorized by its stockholders in general meeting, and
under the common seal of the company, declaring its
acceptance of this act

An act to authorise the Orphans' Court of Harford Coun-
ty to order a sale of part of the estate of John F.
Wheeler, deceased, for the support and education of
his children.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General .Assembly of
Maryland, That the orphan's court of Harford county
be, and it is hereby authorised and empowered to order
a sale of such part of the real estate and negroes, or of
either, belonging to the estate of John F. Wheeler, de-
