CHAP. 65.

A supplement to the act to incorporate the Farmers and
Planters Bank of Baltimore, passed at December ses-
sion eighteen hundred and thirty-jive, chapter three
hundred and fifteen.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the capital stock of the Farmers and
Planters Bank of Baltimore, incorporated by an act
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at De-
cember session in the year eighteen hundred and thirty
five, chapter three hundred and fifteen, entitled, an act
to incorporate the Farmers and Planters Bank of Bal-
timore, shall be, and hereby is limited to the sum of
one million of dollars, exclusive of stock which may
be subcribed in behalf of the State, in virtue of the
provisions of the said act

to $1,000,000

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That in lieu of the bonus
which the Farmers and Planters Bank of Baltimore,
are required to pay to the Treasurer of the Western
Shore of this State, by the ninth section of the afore-
said act, the said Farmers and Planters Bank of Bal-
timore, shall be and hereby is required to pay to the
Treasurer of the Western Shore for the use of this
State, on or before the tenth day of November, in the
year eighteen hundred and thirty seven, the sum of
seven thousand four hundred and two dollars and fifty
cents, and on the tenth day of November, in the year
eighteen hundred and thirty eight, the further sum of
seven thousand four hundred and two dollars and fifty
cents, which said sums of money together with the
sum of seven thousand four hundred and two dollars
aud fifty cents, already paid into the Treasury, shall
be accepted as the bonus on the sum of five hundred and
ninety two thousand, two hundred dollars, the amount
of capital stock of the said bank already subscribed.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said Farmers and
Planters Bank of Baltimore, shall further pay to the
