and consent of the Senate, shall appoint
all officers, whose offices are created by
law, and whose appointment is not oth-
erwise provided for by the constitution,



&c.
This provision not to effect the commis-
sions of persons in office, when this act

goes into effect,
The Governor shall have power to fill
any vacancy in such office, during the re-



cess of the senate,
Commissions in such case shall expire
upon the appointment of the same or some
other person to the same office, by, and
with the advice of the senate, or in one
month after the commencement of the next
regular session of the senate, which ever

first happens,
The same person shall not after rejec-
tion by the senate be again nominated
during the same session, to the same of-
fice, unless the senate signify by message
their willingness to receive such re-nom-



ination,
Nor shall the person so rejected be ap-
pointed to such office during the recess of

the senate,
The Governor shall within one month
after this act shall go into operation, &c.
