from her husband Henry Dorney.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Harriet Dorney, of Harford county, be, and she
is hereby divorced from her husband Henry Dorney,
a vinculo matrimonii.

CHAPTER 287.
|
|
|
|
A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to authorise the
Levy Court of Kent county, to condemn a lot of land
for the purpose of making a cause-way or dam, over
the Narrows at Eastern Neck Island, and to appoint
Commissioners to make or contract for the making of
said dam or cause-way, over the said Narrows, at or
near the place where the bridge crosses the said Nar-
rows, in the county aforesaid.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That if the Levy Court of Kent county should in their
discretion, deem advisable that a bridge should be
erected over the narrows at Eastern Neck Island, in-
stead of a dam or causeway, as provided for in the act
to which this is a supplement, then and in that case it
shall he the duty of the commissioners, or a majority
of them, who may be appointed under the provisions
of the original act, to contract with and employ any
person or persons to make and complete said bridge
across the said narrows, at or near the place where
the old bridge now stands, any law to the contrary
notwithstanding.
