A supplement to an act to incorporate the contributors of
the Somerset Savings Institution, at Princess June,
passed at December Session eighteen hundred and
thirty-two.
WHEREAS, the Somerset Savings Institution has
not been carried into operation and therefore doubts
may exist whether the charter is not forfeited by non
user;— Therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall be lawful for the persons named in the
said charter, and all other persons who may become
contributors to the Somerset Savings Institution, to
organize said Institution, and the said charter is here-
by revived, and shall continue in force until the end
of the year eighteen hundred and sixty, and until the
end of the first session of the General Assembly there-
after.

An act for the relief of Thomas Goulden.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, :
That the Judges of Washington County Court, or any
one of them, be, and they are hereby authorized and
empowered to grant to Thomas Goulden, the benefit
of the several acts of Assembly passed for the relief
of Insolvent Debtors; provided, that the said Thomas
Goulden, shall in all respects, except that of proving
residence, comply with the requisitions of said acts of
Assembly, and that he satisfy the said judges, that he
did not come into this State, with a view of obtaining
the benefit of said Insolvent Laws.
