Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all the right, title, interest and estate which the
State of Maryland has or might make claim to, in and
to the said lot of ground, is hereby released and granted
to the commissioners of Chestertown and their succes-
sors, to be used by the paid commissioners in the im-
provement and for the benefit of said town.

An act for the relief of Edward Hines, late of Kent
county.
|

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the judges of Kent county court be required to
grant a final discharge to Edward Hines, late of Kent
county, an insolvent debtor, if they shall be satisfied
that his personal discharge or notice to creditors,
signed by George S. Hollyday, one of the justices of
the orphans' court of Kent county, shall have been
published in the Kent Bugle, a newspaper printed in
Kent county once a week, commencing on the seventh
day of January, eighteen hundred and thirty-seven,
and ending on the publication day of the said newspa-
per next preccedingthe first Wednesday after the third
Monday of March, eighteen hundred and thirty -seven,
and provided, they shall also be satisfied that the said
Edward Hines shall have complied with all the other
requisites of the acts of Assembly for the relief of in-
solvent debtors.
