CHAPTER 234.
An act relating to pensioners by county assessment, of
Carroll county.

Commissioners
of tax authori-
sed to levy for
pensions
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Commissioners of the tax of Carroll county
be, and they are hereby authorised and empowered to
levy annually on the assessable property of Carroll
county, a sum of money sufficient to pay annually unto
each person who hitherto received from Frederick or
Baltimore county, a pension by county assessment, the
same sum he or she may so have received from Frede-
rick or Baltimore county, and to pay the same over to
such person or the trustee of such person.

An act for the benefit of Henry Boyer and Mary Carlin,
of Frederick county.
|

Levy for benefit
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Frederick county, be, and they
are hereby authorised and required to levy on the as-
sessable property of Frederick county, annually, the
sum of twenty-five dollars for Henry Boyer of Frede-
rick county, and pay the same to Abraham Jones for
the use of said Boyer, and also to levy as aforesaid the
sum of twenty-five dollars annually, for Mary Carlin,
and pay the same to her or her order.

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to provide for
the completion of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal to
Cumberland, and for the completion of the Baltimore
and Susquehanna Rail Road to the borough of Fork,
in the State of Pennsylvania.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the mortgages or liens now held by
this State upon the rail roads, tolls, property and other
effects of the Baltimore and Susquehanna Rail Road
|
