Authority to
county courts
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That it shall and may be lawful for the
ounty court of Frederick and Anne Arundel, to alter
or change any public road, in their respective counties,
in the same mode and manner, as they are authorized
nd directed, by the act to which this is a supplement,
to open, straighten or shut up a public road.

Surveyor's fee
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the surveyor who
may be employed in the opening, straightening, shut-
ting up, altering or changing a public road, may be
allowed any sum, not exceeding four dollars a day.

A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to provide for
the Inspection of Flour, Lumber, and Coal, in the
Town of Williamsport in Washington County.

Boundaries
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, Tbat the Inspection District, of Flour,
Lumber and Coal, for the town of Williamsport in
Washington county, shall be designated by the follow-
ing limits, metes and bounds viz: — Beginning at lock
number forty four, on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal,
and running thence in a straight direction to the south
end of an alley on the extreme east side of the said
town of Williamsport, thence running with said alley
to another alley on the extreme north side of said town,
thence running with said alley to the north end of Con-
ococheague street thence with the road leading from
