SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act
contained shall be of any force or effect, unless the
president and directors of said bank shall on or before
the first day of August next, pass and file with the
Governor and Council of this State, a resolution au-
thorised by the stockholders in general meeting, and
under the common seal of the bank, declaring their
acceptance of the provisions of this act

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this act shall conti-
nue and be in full force and effect until the year eigh-
teen hundred and sixty, and until the end of the first
session of the General Assemby that shall happen
thereafter.

An act appointing Commissioners to build a Bridge over
the Little Falls of Gunpowder, in Harford and Bal-
timore counties.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall and may be lawful for the
commissioners of Harford and Baltimore counties re-
spectively, and they are hereby authorised and requir-
ed to levy on the assessable property of each county,
at their next annual levy, and cause to be collected the

sum of four hundred dollars on each county for the pur- :
pose of erecting a bridge across the Little Falls of
Gunpowder, at or near the ford where the Baltimore
and Harford turnpike road crosses, leading to Bel-Air
on said falls, and that George Amos, Thomas Scott
and Lee Amos, of Harford county, and Thomas Gor-

such and Charles Baker, of Baltimore county, are here-
by appointed commissioners, or a majority of them, to
fix upon a site and superintend the erecting the same,

bridge, who shall give bond and securities to the com-
missioners herein named, to be approved by the respec-
tive commissioners of said counties, for building the
