from the soutli side of Biddlc street, between Ross
street's, and Pennsylvania Avenue, to Moores' alley;
Provided, that all damages if any, that may be sustain-
ed by any person or persons, whose ground shall be
taken for the same, and all expenses incidental to the
opening of said alley shall be paid by the persons,

whose property shall be determined to be, bcncfitted
thereby; and provided further, that all persons inter-
ested have sufficient notice of the intended action of
the Mayor and City Council, under the provisions of
this act.

CHAPTER 177.

Notice

An act to make valid the marriage of John Echer, and
Hannal Myers or Echer.

Passed Mar. 11,
1837.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the marriage contract heretofore
entered into between John Echer, and Hannah Myers,
or Hannah Echer, be, and the same is hereby made
valid to all intents and purposes, any thing in the laws
of the State to the contrary notwithstanding.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Hannah
Myers, or Echer and her issue, shall be entitled to all
the rights and privileges growing out of the aforesaid
contract as if the same had been solemnized according
to the existing laws of the State.

CHAPTER 178.

Rights confirm-
ed

An act to Divorce Elizabeth Mobly, of Washington
County, from her husband Joseph Mobly.

Passed Mar. 10
1888.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Elizabeth Mobly, of Washington county, be, and
she is hereby Divorced a mensa et thoro, from her
husband Joseph Mobly.
