Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That an act of the General Assembly of Maryland,
entitled, an act to provide for an alteration in the Con-
stitution, so far as relates to the division of the sixth
election district in Worcester county, passed at De-
cember session, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, chap-
ter two hundred and sixty-four, be and the same is
hereby ratified and confirmed.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-
bly, by the petition of sundry citizens of Dorchester
county, in the Northwest Fork district in said county,
that they labor under great inconvenience for the want
of a public landing at or near a place called the ship
yard, on the Northwest Fork river, and a public road
from thence to Wheatleysburg, in the said Northwest
Fork district: — Therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Minos Adams, Doctor Joseph Nicols,
and Matthew Smith, Sen. be, and they or a majority
of them are hereby appointed commissioners to meet
at a place called the ship yard, on the Northwest Fork
river in Dorchester county, in the present year, and
