109 ~ William Anderson, attorney for Francis Makemie, asks Court to order payment from estate of James Maynard; presents two bills signed by Maynard 4 March 1692/3 promising delivery of 1200 lbs/tbco at Pocomoke by 10 October and 30 bushels of wheat to mill at Rehobeth by 1 November; witnesses Henry Schofield, John Dredon, Ruth Smith; Peter Dent, attorney for estate, admits debt; Court orders payment, with costs.
109 ~ John Tarr, Pltf. vs. Hannah Maynard, Deft. for 3600 lbs/tbco; Robert Pirrie, attorney for Tarr, mentions two debts of James Maynard due Tarr from July 1692 and August 1693; Peter Dent, attorney for Hannah Maynard, administratrix of Maynard’s estate, admits debt; Court orders payment; Tarr to pay costs.
