140 ~  Anthony Morris, Admn of Joseph Light, Pltf. vs. James Jones of Virginia, Deft; attachment of Jones goods; 2000 lbs/tbco now in possession of Thomas Holly, garnishee, per order of Subsheriff Walter Reed; Holly having paid 1400 lbs/tbco, the balance of 600 was condemned.

140 ~  John Stockley, Pltf. vs. William Clarke, Deft. for debt of £50 sterling; Peter Dent, attorney for Stockley presents account from 10 May 1692; Sheriff’s writ for Clarke returned non est inventus; Court orders attachment of goods of  Clarke; Stockley post bond of £100 for the attachment; security Matthew Scarbrough.

141 ~  Petition of John Virgin to redirect the road by his property to permit use of desirable land; claims that neighbors and overseer are satisfied with new route already  in place; overseer Livin Denwood testifies in agreement; petition granted.
