140 ~  Court convenes; Commissioners present:  Francis Jenckins, Thomas Dixon, Matthew Scarbrough, George Layfield, Thomas Newbold, Samuel Hopkins, Stephen Horsey.

140 ~  Proclamations read  for preroguing the Assembly, concerning officers fees, and the Vestry.

140 ~  Anthony Morris, Admn of Joseph Light, Pltf. vs. James Jones of Virginia, Deft; attachment of Jones goods; 2000 lbs/tbco now in possession of Thomas Holly, garnishee, per order of Subsheriff Walter Reed; Holly having paid 1400 lbs/tbco, the balance of 600 was condemned.

140 ~  Court adjourns briefly, reconvenes with Commissioners Francis Jenckins, Matthew Scarbrough, George Layfield, Thomas Newbold, Samuel Hopkins, John King.

145 ~  Robert Pirrie, Pltf. vs. Swan Swanson, Deft; attachment of 608 lbs/tbco of Swanson made per earlier judgement, now in possession of garnishee Margaret Towers; Court orders condemnation.

145 ~  Mr. James Round, Pltf. vs. Thomas Collins, planter, Deft. for debt of 1440 lbs/tbco; Peter Dent, attorney for Round, presents note of debt signed 12 May 1695 by Collins promising delivery at Snow Hill by 10 November; witnesses John Patrick, Edward Evins; Robert Pirrie, for Collins, admits debt; Court orders payment, with costs.
