authorized, empowered and directed to apply the proceeds of
the bond issue herein authorized to the extent of Fourteen
Thousand Dollars ($14, 000), together with the certain donation
of Eighteen hundred Dollars ($1, 800) to the building and im-
proving the public road from Wheaton to Four Corners, known
as the Wheaton-Four Corners Road, within the Thirteenth Elec-
tion District of Montgomery County; all building and improv-
ing authorized under this Act to consist of the grading of said
roads, construction of bridges and culverts, and the construction
thereon of a macadam or other durable surface according to
plans and specifications approved by the Road Superintendent
for Montgomery County, State of Maryland.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners are hereby authorized and empowered in their dis-
cretion, to relocate any part of the present road-bed of the
said roads.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That on or before the
first day of May, 1916, upon such terms and conditions and the
execution and assurance by satisfactory evidence in writing as
the said County Commissioners may prescribe and determine
there shall be donated to the County Commissioners of said
County the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2, 000), to be ap-
plied by them, in addition to the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars
($10, 000), herein provided, for the said building and improv-
ing of a portion of the said County Road from Glenmont to
Colesville, known as the Kemp Mill-Colesville Road, otherwise
this Act to be null and void in relation to said road; that on
or before the first day of May, 1916, upon such terms and con-
ditions and the execution and assurance by satisfactory evidence
in writing as the said County Commissioners may prescribe,
there shall be donated to the County Commissioners of said
County the sum of Eighteen Hundred Dollars ($1, 800), to be ap-
plied by them in addition to the sum of Fourteen Thousand
Dollars ($14, 000), herein provided, for the said building and
improving the said County Road from Wheaton to Four Cor-
ners, known as the Wheaton-Four Corners Road, otherwise this
Act to be null and void in relation to said road, it is the intent
and purpose, however, of this Act, and so provided, that fail-
ure to make the donation required on either of said public roads
shall not affect the validity of this Act in relation to the other
of said roads.
