chapter 152 of the Acts of Assembly of 1888, chapter 408
of the Acts of Assembly of 1898 and chapter 218 of the
Acts of Assembly of 1902.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That so much of the Acts of Assembly incorporating
the Mutual Life Insurance Company of Baltimore passed at
the January session in the year 1858, Chapter 276; of the Acts
of Assembly of 1870, Chapter 33; of the Acts of Assembly of
1888, Chapter 152; of the Acts of Assembly of 1898, Chapter
408; of the Acts of Assembly of 1902, Chapter 218, as grants
to the said Mutual Life Insurance Company of Baltimore the
right to insure property against loss or damage by fire, is hereby
repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, In all other respects the several
Acts of Assembly in the last preceding section enumerated shall
remain in full force and effect.

CHAPTER 365.
AN ACT to regulate the salaries and the election expenses of
the Supervisors of Elections for Carroll County and to pro-
vide for the publication by advertisement of the notices of
election and of registration of voters in said County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the salaries and all other expenses of the Super-
visors of Elections for Carroll County shall be in the discre-
tion of the County Commissioners of said County.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land. That the Supervisors of Elections of Carroll County shall
give ten days' notice of the time and place of registration and
of the revision thereof, and of the elections in each precinct of
said County only by advertisement in two newspapers (one
of which newspaper, if possible, shall be of the opposite polit-
ical faith from that of the majority of said Supervisors) of
general circulation in said County, and they shall not be re-
quired to give notice by posting hand bills of said elections or
registrations or the persons registered or erased in each pre-
cinct of said County.
