other register of any such club, association, society or company,
or a transfer of any such registration; and every person who
shall knowingly give a false pedigree of any animal, upon
conviction thereof, shall be punished by imprisonment in a
county jail for a term not exceeding one year, or by a fine not
exceeding one thousand dollars, or by both such fine and im-
prisonment.

43. Said certificate must show that the swine have been
inoculated with hog cholera serum within thirty days of the
date of shipment, and all of said certificates shall be passed
upon by the State Board of Agriculture, or their duly author-
ized officer. Any person violating the provisions of this and
the preceding Section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and on conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than twenty-
five dollars ($25. 00) for each offense.

45. For the purpose of further carrying out the provisions
of this Article, the State Board of Agriculture may institute
live stock patrol along the State borders, which is hereby au-
thorized, the duty of said patrol being to prevent any live stock
from being shipped or brought into this State which may be
affected with any contagious or infectious disease, contrary
to the laws regulating the shipment or bringing of such live
stock into this State.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
June 1st, 1916.

CHAPTER 338.

AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission to construct
a highway connecting the Annapolis Boulevard, authorized
by Section 32R, Chapter 116, of the Laws of Maryland of
1910, with the Baltimore and Washington Boulevard and
making available therefor a sufficient sum out of the sur-
plus remaining of the bond issue authorized by Acts of
1910, Chapter 116, Laws of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the State Roads Commission is hereby author-
ized to construct with macadam or other hard material a high-
way not less than sixteen feet in width connecting the Ann-
