32, 33, 34, 34E, 34F, 34G, 34H, 34 I, 34 J, 34K, 34L, 34M,
34N, 34 O, 34P, 34Q or 34R, shall be fined not more than
Fifty Dollars in the discretion of the Justice or committed to
the Jail of said County for a period not exceeding thirty days
or shall be both fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the
Justice, and in default of payment of any fine shall be com-
mitted to Jail for a period not exceeding thirty days, and any
Justice of the Peace of said County shall have jurisdiction to
try all causes arising for any of the violations of any sections
of this Act, provided, however, that in all cases the accused
shall have the right to a jury trial and shall have the right
within ten days to appeal from the decision of the Justice, but,
in case of appeal the party appealing shall enter into an ap-
proved recognizance for his or their appearance at the next
term of the Circuit Court of said County.
Section 34K. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts inconsistent herewith be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.
Section 34L. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on the first day of June, 1916.

CHAPTER 321.
ACT authorizing and directing the Governor of this State
to designate one of the justices of the peace appointed in
and for the Third Election District of Cecil County as a
police justice, and defining the duties and fixing the com-
pensation of such police justice.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Governor of the State be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to designate one of the Justices of the
Peace appointed in and for the Third Election District of
Cecil County as a police justice, and who shall be a resident
of said Third Election District, and who before he shall act
as such shall give bond to the State of Maryland in the penalty
of one thousand dollars ($1, 000. 00), with surety or sureties
to be approved by the County Commissioners, conditioned that
he will well and faithfully perform and execute the duties and
obligations of Justice of the Peace, and that he will account
