SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June in the year 1916.

CHAPTER 264.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Harford
County to levy annually a sum of money for the support of
Streett Bedford, of said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Harford County, be
and they are hereby authorized and empowered to levy annu-
ally a sum of money not to exceed one hundred dollars for the
support of Streett Bedford, a resident of said County.

CHAPTER 265.

AN ACT to repeal Section 141 as amended by Chapter 310 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
its session of 1908, and to repeal Section 142 as amended
by Chapter 636 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at its session of 1912, and to repeal Sec-
tions 145, 149 and 158C as amended by Chapter 620 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its ses-
sion of 1914, of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Wicomico County, " sub-title "Salis-
bury, " and to re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 141 as amended by Chapter 310 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its session of
1908, and Section 142 as amended by Chapter 636 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its session
of 1912, and Sections 145, 149 and 158C as amended by Chap-
ter 620 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at its session of 1914, of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wicomico County, " sub-title
"Salisbury, " be, and the same are hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, as follows, that is to say:
