EMERSON C. HARRINGTON, GOVERNOR. 503:

Local Laws of Maryland, title "Queen Anne's County, " sub-
title "Queenstown, " as enacted by Chapter 542 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January ses-
sion in the year 1892, is hereby repealed, and re-enacted with,
amendments so as to read as follows:

218-B. The present bounds and limits of Queenstown shall
be as follows: Beginning at the foot of Old Wharf Lane and
running thence with the lines of the creek shore in a westerly
direction until it intersects the divisional line between the lands
of William McKenney and the land of William McConnor,
thence with said divisional line extended a southeasterly course
across the "Gallows Field Farm" of William Hannetta De May,
until it reaches a point in a straight line northeast with the ex-
treme southern boundary of George Shepherd's land, thence due
northeast with the line of George Shepherd's property until it
intersects the southwest side of the Wye Neck Public Road,
thence down the southwest side of said road toward the town
until it reaches a point on the southwest side of said road oppo-
site the thorn hedge on the lower line of the farm of Hiram
G. Dudley, and then across the Wye Neck Road, and following
the boundary line of said farm until it reaches the public road
leading to Centerville, and along said road leading to Center-
ville until it reaches a point opposite the south or southwest
boundary of the Old Wharf Lane, and thence on the south or
southwest side of said Wharf Lane to the point of beginning.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect,
from the first day of June, nineteen hundred and sixteen.

CHAPTER 250.

AN ACT to add five new Sections to Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Queen Anne's.
County, " to be known as Sections 286, 287, 288, 289 and
290, providing for the issuance of a license to open, conduct,
or operate any hotel, casino or excursion pavilion, or any
bathing beach, park, or grounds of any description whatso-
ever for the resort of persons as an excursion ground, camp
meeting, encampment or place of amusement of diversion
anywhere within the limits of Queen Anne's County but:
without the limits of any incorporated town in said County,
