114. To the St. Martin's Day Nursery, the sum, of one
thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1917, and the like sum
of one thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1918.
115. To the Baltimore Day Nursery, the sum of one thou-
sand dollars for the fiscal year 1917, and the like sum of one
thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1918.
116. To the Maryland Historical Society, the sum of two
thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1917, and the like sum of
two thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1918, same to be used
for the publication of the Archives of the State of Maryland,
which as provided by the Act of 1882, Chapter 138, shall be
the property of the State; provided, that said Society may
purchase such volumes as it wishes for its members and ex-
changes at the cost of paper, press work and binding, and shall
be authorized to sell others at cost; the proceeds of all sales
to be added to the publication fund, and used only therefor;
and, provided, further, that ten copies of each volume of the
archives published by the Maryland Historical Society shall be
bound in cloth and deposited in the State Library for the use
thereof, and that the said Society be, and it is hereby author-
ized, without being required to pay therefor, to send a copy
of each of the volumes that have been or may be published to
the respective State Librarians of the several States of the
Union, and also to each of the Circuit Courts of the several
counties of the State; to the Court of Appeals, the Land Office,
the Library Company of the Baltimore Bar, and such library
or historical association as may be approved by the Maryland
Historical Society, and said Society shall make report to the
next General Assembly of the progress of the work, and of all
receipts and disbursements under this Act.
117. To the Day Nursery of Hagerstown, the sum of five
hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1917, and the like sum of
five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1918.
118. To the Maryland Children's Aid Society, the sum of
two thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1917, and the like
sum of two thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1918.
119. To the Lady Visitors of the Maryland Line Con-
federate Soldiers' Home, the sum of five hundred dollars for
the fiscal year 1917, and the like sum of five hundred dollars
for the fiscal year 1918.
120. To the various Agricultural Fair Associations, en-
titled to the same by the provisions of Chapter 746 of the
Acts of 1906, the sum of five thousand dollars for the fiscal
year 1917, and the like sum of five thousand dollars for the
