authorizing and directing the County Commissioners of
Frederick County, for and on behalf of said County, to issue
a good and valid note or bonds bearing interest at 4 1/2% per
annum as County Commissioners on the credit of said
County to run for a period not longer than ten years and
providing, authorizing and directing the County Commis-
sioners of Frederick County to levy taxes to pay said note
or bonds and interest; and providing and directing that
Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30, 000. 00) of said purchase
price to be paid out of Frederick County's apportionment
and allotment of the appropriations heretofore or that may
hereafter be made by the State for the construction of Coun-
ty or State Aid Roads and authorizing and directing the
County Commissioners of Frederick County to draw upon
and request the State Roads Commission of Maryland to
draw upon the Comptroller of the Treasury for Ten Thou-
sand Dollars ($10, 000. 00) out of Frederick County's allot-
ment of the appropriation made by the General Assembly
of 1914 for State Aid or County Roads, and providing,
authorizing and directing the County Commissioners of
Frederick County annually thereafter to draw upon and re-
quest the State Roads Commission of Maryland to draw upon
the Comptroller of the Treasury for the sum of Ten Thou-
sand Dollars ($10, 000. 00) per annum out of Frederick
County's allotment or apportionment of the appropriations
for State Aid or County Roads, and authorizing and direct-
ing the State Roads Commission of Maryland to draw their
warrants upon the Comptroller of the Treasury for the sum
of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10, 000. 00) per annum out of
Frederick County's apportionment or allotment of the ap-
propriations made or hereafter made by the General Assem-
bly of the State of Maryland for State Aid or County Roads
or Bridges, and authorizing and directing the Comptroller
to honor and pay said warrants in favor of James W. Le
Gore, his heirs or assigns until said payments shall equal
the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30, 000. 00) from the
State Treasury; and further authorizing and directing the
Comptroller of the Treasury to draw his warrants upon the
Treasury of the State of Maryland for the aggregate sum of
Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30, 000. 00).
WHEREAS, By the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1904, Chapter 342, James W. Le Gore, his heirs and as-
signs, were authorized and empowered to build and construct
a Stone Arch Bridge across the Monocacy River at or near the
