2. And be it enacted, That the said Society, and their suc-
cessors, by the aforesaid name, shall be forever hereafter able
and capable in law to sue and be sued, implead and be im-
pleaded, answer and be answered, defend and be defended, in
any court of law or equity in any place whatsoever, and also
to make, have and use a common seal, and the same to break,
alter, and renew at pleasure, and also to assemble and meet at
such time and places as may be agreed upon, and to establish
and put in execution such by-laws and regulations as to them
shall seem necessary and convenient for the government of such
Society, or Corporation, the same not being contrary to the
laws of the State, or of the United States.

And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the
first day of June, 1916.

Approved April 11th, 1916.

CHAPTER 217.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 202
and 212 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Baltimore County, " relating to Justices of
the Peace and 'Constables, as enacted by Chapter 474 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed in the
January Session, 1910.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
land, That Sections 202 and 212 of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, ' title "Baltimore County, "
relating to Justices of the Peace and Constables, as enacted by
Chapter 474 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
passed in the January Session, 1910, be and the same are here-
by repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:

Section 202. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty
of the Governor, after the appointment of the Justices of the
Peace provided for in. Section 200 of this Article, to select
from the Justices so appointed one Justice of the Peace ap-
pointed from the First Election District to sit at the station
house at Catonsville; one Justice of the Peace appointed from
the Fourteenth Election District to sit at Gardenville; one
Justice of the Peace appointed from the Ninth Election Dis-
